Fleet Management

< 1 min read

What it is #

Fleet Management lets companies manage EV fleets, assign drivers, and optimize usage.

Why it matters #

  • Logistics and corporate fleets need central management.
  • Tracks cost per vehicle.
  • Improves route and charging efficiency.

How to use it #

  1. Open Fleet Management in the dashboard.
  2. Click Add Vehicle and enter:
    • Vehicle ID (plate number)
    • Make & Model
    • Battery size (optional)
  3. Assign a driver (existing user or new).
  4. Restrict which chargers the fleet can access.
  5. Track reports for:
    • Energy consumption per vehicle.
    • Total sessions per driver.
    • Cost distribution.

Tips & Best Practices #

  • Group fleets by department or location.
  • Review monthly reports to cut unnecessary charging stops.

Example Scenario #

A delivery company with 50 EV vans uses Fleet Management to assign drivers and track energy costs. The manager sees that vans in City A use 30% more energy, leading to route optimization.
