App Builder

< 1 min read

What it is #

The App Builder is a no-code tool that allows businesses to create fully branded EV charging apps without developers. You can create the apps from the Web App Builder, Dashboard, or ChatGPT.

Why it matters #

  • Reduces cost and time to launch an EV charging app.
  • Ensures consistent branding (name, logo, colors).
  • Automatically generates Android (APK) and iOS (AAB) builds.

How to use it #

  1. In the dashboard, go to Branded Apps.
  2. Fill in required details:
    • App Name
    • Primary Color
    • Description (optional)
  3. Upload branding assets:
    • Logo (PNG, 512×512).
    • App Icon (PNG, 512×512).
  4. Click Build App.
  5. Wait for build confirmation.
  6. Download files:
    • APK (Android)
    • AAB (iOS)

Tips & Best Practices #

  • Use your official logo to maintain trust.
  • Keep app names short (max 30 characters).
  • Update and rebuild whenever branding changes.

Example Scenario #

A hotel installs EV chargers and wants its guests to book charging sessions via a branded mobile app. Using App Builder, the hotel generates its own “HotelCharge” app in less than an hour.
